Almost 30 percent of Moldovan population vaccinated against COVID-19

Chisinau, Dec. 29 / MOLDPRES /- The Ministry of Health announced today that the national vaccination rate against COVID-19 with a dose of serum is almost 30%, and with the full scheme - over 28%.

On 20-26 December, 35,233 people were immunized, 2% more than the previous week. As of December 26, the booster dose had been administered to 59,927 people.

The latest data presented by the Ministry of Health show a total of 4,522 children vaccinated against COVID-19 with a single dose and 3,387 minors who have completed the complete immunization schedule.

The highest vaccination rate with the full scheme is registered in Chisinau - 42% and Soroca - 32%. The lowest coverage is attested in Gagauzia - 17%, Sangerei and Leova - 19%.

To date, 1,764,035 doses of anti-COVID serum have been administered in the Republic of Moldova.
