Seventy fifth birthday anniversary of painter marked in Moldova

Chisinau, 31 December /MOLDPRES/ - Fine artist Inessa Tapin would have turned 75 years today.
Given this anniversary, the National Art Museum of Moldova has inaugurated an exhibition titled, Seventy fifth birthday anniversary of Inessa Tapin, 1946-2013. The exhibition comprises 30 works, of which 15 ones from museum’s collections and another 15 from private collections. ‘’Inessa Tapin was an artist who made herself conspicuous very much in her last years of work. She did not get involved in any subjects. She operated with the colour, which stays at the basis of the painting. She had a sure and quite stable painting approach,’’ the director of the aforementioned museum, Tudor Zbarnea, said.
Inessa Tapin was born in Chisinau on 31 December 1946. In 1967, she finished the Republican School of Fine Arts. During 20 years, Tapin was employed as scene painter at the state television of Moldova. She exhibited works in Russia, Japan, Spain, Romania, Hungary, Ethiopia. Another seven personal exhibitions of the fine artist were staged in Chisinau. In 1987, the fine artist was awarded the Medal of the International Association of Japanese Fine Artists and in 2006 she was awarded the Mihai Eminescu Prize of Moldova’s Culture Ministry. Her works are kept in public and private of Moldova and from abroad.
Inessa Tapin died on 4 February 2013 and was buried at the Saint Lazarus Cemetery from Chisinau.
