As many as 450 emergency employees, 150 special vehicles to work in Moldova on New Year night

Chisinau, 31 December /MOLDPRES/ - A number of 450 employees of the General Inspectorate for Emergency Situations (IGSU) with 150 special vehicles will work on the New Year night. Rescuers and firemen will act 24 hours for missions of rescue, as well as actions of preventing risk situations.
In the context, rescuers ask residents not to overheat stoves and extinguish the fire during the night. Moreover, recommendations are made also to people who use electric heating devices. To avoid intoxications with carbon monoxide, rescuers warn about the danger of the defective or unauthorized devices. In cases of defections, it is advisable to invite specialists to remedy the situation.
Firemen warn people not to launch pyrotechnical materials, especially nearby dwelling places, buildings or forests. The launch of fires by children is not advisable, as they can get injuries and arsons.
Special attention is paid to the danger of presence nearby water basins. In conditions of oscillating air temperatures, people are asked to avoid going and fishing on rivers and lakes and strictly monitor children. Drivers are warned to endow their transport means properly, according to the winter conditions and observe the speed regime.
