Educatieonline.md project has about 5.5 million visitors

Chisinau, January 4 / MOLDPRES /- The digital library "educatieonline.md", developed by the Chisinau municipality, was visited by about 5 million 500 thousand visitors, MOLDPRES reports.
The City Hall informs that at the end of December last year, "Educatieonline.md" was completed with 7,674 video lessons, including 4,512 in Romanian and 3,162 lessons in Russian.
According to data provided by Google Analytics, during the project, the site registered 569,029 new users, and the library pages were viewed by about 5 million 500 thousand visitors from the Republic of Moldova (76.39%), Romania (20 , 67%).
The most active users are between 25-34 years old, followed by 18-24 and 35-44 years old.
A new section has been created on the site, "Online safety", in which 12 videos were placed on topics related to online reputation and friendship, communication with online friends and online image. These are six materials in Romanian and six in Russian, developed in partnership with the International Center "La Strada".
According to the capital's authorities, between October 1 and December 30, 2021, 145 local trainers from the municipality and 156 local trainers from the territory were trained based on the course "Didactics of using the Digital Library www.educatieonline.md".
The project "Online education without borders" was launched in October last year, when 1,734 institutions from the Republic of Moldova and Romania were registered, which, until May 2022, will collaborate virtually based on the digital resources provided by the library.
