National vaccincation rate against COVID-19 reached 30%

Chisinau, January 4 / MOLDPRES /- The national coverage with a dose of COVID vaccine is currently 29.9%, and with a full scheme - 28.7%. A total of 1,776,981 doses of vaccine were administered. The data was made public today by the Ministry of Health.

On December 26 - January 2, 25,434 people were immunized, about 28% less than the previous week and about 18% compared to that period last month.

Until January 2, the booster dose was administered to 71,665 people. The highest vaccination rate with the full scheme is registered in Chisinau - 43% and Soroca - 31%, and the lowest vaccination coverage is attested in Gagauzia 18%, Sangerei and Leova - 19%.

The Republic of Moldova has so far received 2,708,040 doses of COVID-19 vaccine.
