Year 2022 to be Year of medical employee in Chisinau

Chisinau, 4 January /MOLDPRES/ - The 2022 year will be year of medical employee in Chisinau.  

At the last meeting of the Chisinau Municipal Council (CMC), the CMC members ruled to declare 2022 year of medical employee; the initiative of the local public authorities comes as a token of gratitude and appreciation for the employees of the municipal medical system.   

According to the Chisinau city hall, this measure is meant to attract the society’s attention to the efforts made by the medical employees from the competent municipal institutions in their daily work of high responsibility for the residents’ health.

In this respect, the Chisinau general mayor, Ion Ceban, expressed respect for all employees of the capital’s medical system. According to the mayor, as of March 2020, the physicians from Chisinau have been proving every day that they are heroes in white coats, taking into account that 70 per cent of all pressure at the national level as regards COVID was on the strategic institutions from the Moldovan capital. Thus, this year, the municipal authorities are to carry out diverse activities to back the medical employees, in the context of the modernization of the infrastructure in the medical sector, logistics, arranging rooms for employees, etc.      

Under the decision adopted, the city hall’s medical and social assistance general department is to elaborate and approve an action plan dedicated to the year of the medical employee in the Chisinau municipality.
