Chisinau, January 5 / MOLDPRES /- A group of children from Drochia paid a visit to the central electoral authority in Chisinau.
A group of students from Gymnasium No2 from Drochia paid a study visit to the Central Electoral Commission where they met with the vice-president of the institution, Pavel Postică.
The official noted on social media that he spoke to students about democratic values, about the importance of elections in a modern society, about how important the involvement of each of us in building a strong and prosperous state, how the Republic of Moldova wants to be . "We welcomed the enthusiasm with which these children, the voters of tomorrow, want to know more about all that democracy and human rights mean. The credit goes to teachers who cultivate responsibility and civic devotion in students," he said.
The students' visit to the Central Electoral Authority took place within the project "English - a catalyst for democracy in schools", implemented by CICDE - Center for Continuing Education in the Electoral Field, with the financial support of the US Embassy in Chisinau.
