Over 80% of Border Police employees vaccinated against COVID-19

Chisinau, January 5 / MOLDPRES /- More than 80% of Border Police employees have been vaccinated against Covid-19, and 102 border guards have been immunized with the third dose of the vaccine.

According to the Border Police, since the end of November 2021, within the institution, the booster is administered to people who have completed the primary vaccination schedule and according to a special schedule.

At the same time, the activity of the mobile vaccination crews against Covid-19 was resumed. In the next period, they will travel to the border subdivisions to administer the vaccine to those who wish and will repeatedly communicate with the border police about the importance of immunization for health. Today, a mobile vaccination crew will be in Ungheni, and on January 13 they will be in Cahul.

All those who administer the vaccine against Covid-19 are entitled to two paid days off for each dose of Covid-19 vaccination. There are currently two types of vaccine available in the Border Police - Pfizer and Moderna.
