Over 7,500 homes purchased through First Home Program

Chisinau, January 6 / MOLDPRES /- So far, 7,568 homes have been purchased through the government's First Home program. The total amount of loans granted by banks is 4.11 billion lei, and the total amount of collateral is 2 billion lei.
According to the data of the Ministry of Finance, out of the total number of beneficiaries, 1,353 persons benefit from compensations from the state budget within the First Home 2 program; 3 240 - through the program First Home 3; 1 208 - First Home 4 program and 13 - First Home 5 program.
Of the 7,568 beneficiaries, 5,193 are families and 2,375 are unmarried young people. The average age of the applicants is 31 years. The average surface of the dwellings purchased through the Program is 60.81 square meters, and the average value of the dwellings purchased is 635.15 thousand lei.
Of the total number of dwellings purchased under the Program, 6,862 are apartments, and 706 are individual dwellings.
The beneficiary of the First Home program may be a citizen of the Republic of Moldova, aged between 18 and 50 years, who is officially employed by a state institution or private company in the country and has income from official sources. The share of the initial own participation is 5% of the purchase price of the house.
