As many as 450 employees of emergency situations inspectorate to work in Moldova during old-style Christmas

Chisinau, 6 January /MOLDPRES/ - A number of 450 employees of the General Inspectorate for Emergency Situations (IGSU) will work during the told-style Christmas holidays, with 150 technology units.
According to IGSU, on the Christmas holidays’ period, rescuers and firemen come up with recommendations and warnings to people in charge of churches, for the anti-fire rules to be observed, especially on the Christmas night. Specialists urge residents to observe the rules of protection against fires, in order not to endanger parishioners due in churches.
Firemen warn about the exploitation of heating stoves and chimneys, arranging special places for candles, as well as maximal prudence when using the open fire. At the same time, specialists warn that the churches must be endowed with primary means for extinguishing and the access ways for intervention special vehicles should be maintained free.
IGSU said the institution’s employees were to go with recommendations to 1,492 churches from Moldova. The prophylaxis measures carried out by the Inspectorate are aimed at preventing the risk situations in churches – fires and other emergency situations dealing with fire sources.
