As many as 329 new cases of COVID-19 recorded in Moldova

Chisinau, 8 January /MOLDPRES/ - A number of 4,517 tests have been processed in Moldova in the last 24 hours and 329 cases of infection with the new-type coronavirus were confirmed. 11 out of the new cases are import ones. Thus, 379,901 COVID-19 cases have been registered in Moldova so far.

According to data by the Health Ministry, 2 out of all infection cases are among medical employees (auxiliary staff).

As many as 650 people confirmed with COVID-19 are hospitalized in all, of whom 69 are in extremely serious condition and 7 patients are subjected to mechanical ventilation.

In the context, 2,500 persons are treated at home with light and moderate forms of coronavirus and 11,782 are under supervision at home.

Another 52 people have been treated. As many as 364,095 people were treated of COVID-19 in all.

At the same time, MS informs about the registration of another 6 deaths triggered by COVID-19 and 10,356 people have died of coronavirus in all.
