President of Moldova's National Olympic and Sports Committeee meets Ambassador of China

Chisinau, 11 January /MOLDPRES/ - President of the National Olympic and Sports Committee Nicolae Juravschi has met Ambassador of China to Moldova Yan Wenbin.

At the meeting, the Chinese official presented the situation as to the preparation of the Winter Olympic Games, due in Beijing, in 2022. The diplomat said that China fully implemented the concept of ecological, shared, open and clean organization of the Olympic Games. Yan Wenbin noted that, despite the coronavirus pandemic, efforts were made to organize efficient and safe Olympic Games.

For his part, Nicolae Juravschi wished the ambassador Welcome in Chisinau, stressing that the Chinese state has a rich experience in the carrying out of international sports events. According to Juravschi, China will certainly hold an excellent edition of the Winter Olympic Games and wished success to the organizers.
