Moldovan foreign minister talked to Ukrainian ambassador

Chisinau, January 12 / MOLDPRES /- Moldovan Foreign Minister Nicu Popescu continued talks on developments in the regional security situation and its implications for our country during a meeting with Ukraine's ambassador to Chisinau Marko Shevchenko, the MAEIE press service has reported.

„Moldova advocates for comprehensive and inclusive talks on strengthening European security, taking into account the interests and concerns of all countries concerned, "said Popescu.

The official reiterated our country's support for Ukraine's sovereignty and territorial integrity within its internationally recognized borders.

It was also agreed to step up cooperation on priority issues on the bilateral agenda.
