Moldovan Education Ministry to implement new project for development of vocational education

Chisinau, 12 January /MOLDPRES/ - The government today approved the signing of a memorandum of understanding between the Education and Research Ministry and the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation on the phase I of the project titled, We create value for the others: vocational education institutions provide relevant competences (CREATIVO), the government’s communication and protocol department has reported.
The memorandum will ensure the needed legal framework for the implementation of the CREATIVO project, the goal of which is that young people and adults from Moldova enhance perspectives for employment on the labour market, based on relevant syllabi, developed by vocational education institutions.
The project will contribute to the strengthening of the capacities of vocational education institutions, so that they efficiently provide courses in partnership with and for companies from the private sector. Another goal is to improve the economic and entrepreneurial activities at the level of vocational education institutions, so that pupils get relevant professional competences and the institutions generate incomes.
The project’s implementation is financially backed by the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation, Liechtenstein Development Service (LED Moldova) and the Centre for Entrepreneurial Education and Business Support (CEDA) from Moldova.
