Five territories in Moldova under orange code of COVID -healthy ministry says

Chisinau, January 13 / MOLDPRES /- Chisinau municipality, the administrative territory on the left bank of the Dniester, Ialoveni and Taraclia districts and Soroca municipality are under the orange code of COVID-19, another 18 districts are under yellow code. The data were presented today by the Ministry of Health.

According to the quoted source, in the first week of this year, 3,688 cases of COVID-19 were registered, increasing by over 77% compared to the last week of last year. During this period, there were 18 cases of infection among pregnant women. The number of cases of infection among children has risen from 154 to 230 in the first week of this year.

The Ministry announces that wards with beds for patients with COVID-19 are arranged in 23 public medical institutions. The daily average of hospitalized patients was 717 people.

MS data show that the national coverage with one dose of vaccine is over 30%, and with the complete scheme - about 29%, in total being administered 1,798,876 doses of vaccine
