As many as 1,503 new cases of COVID-19 recorded in Moldova in last 24 hours

Chisinau, 13 January /MOLDPRES/ - A number of 11,009 samples have been processed in Moldova in the last 24 hours and 1,503 cases of infection with the new-type coronavirus were confirmed. Forty one out of the new cases are import ones. Thus, 385,047 COVID-19 cases have been registered in Moldova so far.

According to data by the Health Ministry (MS), 76 out of all infection cases are among medical employees (21 physicians, 28 medical assistants, 27 auxiliary staff employees).

As many as 1,013 people confirmed with COVID-19 are hospitalized in all, of whom 142 are in extremely serious condition and 18 patients are subjected to mechanical ventilation.

In the context, 3767 persons are treated at home with light and moderate forms of coronavirus and 12,037 are under supervision at home.

Another 331 people have been treated. As many as 365,861 people were treated of COVID-19 in all.

At the same time, MS informs about the registration of another 10 deaths triggered by COVID-19 and 10,416 people have died of coronavirus in all.
