Moldovan president visits two localities in Hâncești district

Chisinau, January 14 / MOLDPRES /- President Maia Sandu visited Mingir and Voinescu villages, Hancesti district yesterday, the presidential press service has reported.
The head of state discussed with inhabitants and local authorities about the investments needed for the two villages, the situation of small entrepreneurs and their forms of support for job creation in villages, financing of schools and situation of rural teachers. The president answered questions of citizens - about the justice reform, the pension system and recently approved early retirement pension, the need to reform the welfare program.
"I am glad I can bring them good news - the Government has approved 46 regional development projects, with a total cost of 1.5 billion lei, including the project for the construction of Sărata-Răzeși-Voinescu -Mingir highway", the head of state said.
The discussions also referred to the great challenges at the beginning of the year - the energy crisis and rising prices, felt by a large part of the population, and a new wave of the pandemic, from which we can protect ourselves by vaccination and wearing a mask. "We will overcome these problems together, working honestly and confidently for the common good," said Maia Sandu.
