Prosecutors charged three detainees in Durlești land case

Chisinau, January 14 / MOLDPRES /- Anti-corruption prosecutors yesterday filed charges against the three detainees in the Durlești land case, and today the court is set to comment on their pre-trial detention.

The three are accused of abuse of office and money laundering, manifested by organizing and co-participating in the implementation of a scheme to alienate plots of land in the town hall of Durlești (Chisinau), in the interest of an organized group that would have harmed the state with over 7 million lei.

Prosecutors have asked the court for a pre-trial arrest warrant on behalf of two defendants and house arrest for the woman, who was detained on January 12 in the same case. It cooperates with the criminal investigation body and acknowledges the circumstances of the act.
