New COVID restrictions to come into force on 17 January

Chisinau, January 14 / MOLDPRES /- The Extraordinary National Commission on Public Health met yesterday and issued a new decision setting out several restrictions from 17 January.
Thus, from January 17 at the state border will return to the system through which, regardless of country of origin, entry into the Republic of Moldova will be allowed based on one of the documents: vaccination certificate, PCR test or fast performed with 72 hours, respectively 48 hours before boarding or entry into the country (depending on the means of transport used), the confirmatory medical conclusion in the case of persons who have experienced COVID-19, in the period between the 15th and the 180th day (6 months) or a confirmation of the presence of anti-COVID-19 antibodies.
Also from January 17, in the localities on the orange alert threshold, the service of the clients in the public alimentation units will be allowed only with the presentation of the COVID-19 certificate, within the limit of 75 percent of the capacity.
Private events (festive meals, corporate parties, weddings, baptisms) with 25 or more participants will still be allowed only with their presentation of the COVID-19 certificate, in the green and yellow alert thresholds.
