In his opening speech, Iurie Turcanu said that the package of laws on the economy’s digitalization would revolutionize the way of state’s interaction with entrepreneurs. ‘’This is a good beginning of the economy’s digital transformation, the benefits of which will be felt by everyone. Our country’s key advantage in the switch to the digital economy represents the well-developed IT industry, which already contribute 3.5 per cent to the Gross Domestic Product (GDP), and which has had a trend of increase in the last years. The IT exports reached 258.47 million dollars in 2020,’’ the minister specified.
