Customs Service collected over 393 million lei last week

Chisinau, 17 January /MOLDPRES/- On 10-16 January, the Customs Service's revenue to state budget amounted to more than 393 million lei.

According to the SV data, since the beginning of January, the Customs Service has collected to state budget about 690 million lei, up by 56.7% compared to the revenues of the respective period of 2021.

Last week, the number of passengers who entered the Republic of Moldova was about 75 thousand people. Of them, 935 private people declared various goods, paying payments amounting to 1.7% of the total amount collected for the corresponding period.

Also, on January 10-16, 9,778 customs declarations were made, and the flow of means of transport - 52,817 crossings. The busiest customs posts remain Leuseni and Sculeni, with 13,845 and 8,397 crossings, respectively.
