Moldovan parliament speaker vaccinated against COVID-19 with booster dose

Chisinau, 17 January /MOLDPRES/ - Parliament Speaker Igor Grosu and other MPs today were vaccinated with the booster dose against Covid-19.

In the context, Igor Grosu reiterated the urge to the residents to be vaccinated against coronavirus, in order to be able to cease the pandemic and return to the normal life.

”The pandemic is not over; Omicron is quickly spreading in the world and the number cases of infection with Covid-19 has increased in Moldova too. We have more types of vaccine in Moldova now, available for all people interested. Go and be immunized, this is the only way for us to be protected,’’ the parliament speaker said.

Health Ministry’s data shows that 1,839,531 doses of anti-COVID vaccine have been administered in Moldova so far.
