Because of COVID-19, parents no longer have access to Chisinau kindergartens

Chisinau, January 19 / MOLDPRES /- The Education, Youth and Sports Directorate has banned parents from entering early education institutions.

Acting head of the above-mentioned department Andrei Pavaloi sent a letter to all municipal early education institutions warning of the alarming epidemiological situation in Chisinau and, in order to prevent the coronavirus pandemic, announces the restriction of parental access to the territory and in kindergartens.

According to the provision, new measures are being put in place to protect and prevent infection with the new coronavirus. Thus, starting with January 19, only children and staff will enter the early education institutions, after their body temperature will be measured, it must not exceed 37.0 degrees.

The temperature control provision also applies to municipal general education institutions. Students and teachers must continue to wear protective masks during class and observe hand and respiratory hygiene.
