EBRD sent strong message of support for Moldova's reforms

Chisinau, January 19 / MOLDPRES /- President Maia Sandu had a meeting today with President of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) Odile Renaud-Basso, who sent a strong message of support for the commitment of the governing team to make reforms, presidential press service has reported.
The officials discussed the changes taking place in Moldova, as well as the projects in the priority areas, through which the EBRD can help our country to achieve its development goals. "I mentioned the energy sector, with an emphasis on energy efficiency and diversification of energy sources, and supporting small and medium-sized enterprises through accessible sources of financing. We are also interested in attracting investments to help create jobs in villages and towns, but also in projects aimed at developing regional infrastructure, providing local water and sewerage, and waste management, "said Maia Sandu.
The head of state also thanked the management of the Bank for its contribution to the modernization of our country.
