Romania approves memorandum for negotiation of agreement on implementation of programme on technical, financial assistance to Moldova

Chisinau, 19 January /MOLDPRES/ - The government of Romania today approved a memorandum for the negotiation and signing of the agreement between the governments of Romania and Moldova on the implementation of the programme on technical and financial assistance. The document sees the providing of a non-refundable financial assistance worth 100 million euros to Moldova, the government’s communication and protocol department has reported.

Through this agreement, the Romanian government is set to boost the cooperation between Romania and Moldova, in order to develop a bilateral strategic partnership and back Moldova’s European integration process.

The memorandum sets a string of other goals, such as the promotion of the process of reforms in European spirit, as well as enhancing Moldova’s resilience to the destabilizing factors.
