Holercani high school's energy efficiency nearly completed

Chisinau, 26 January /MOLDPRES/- At the Theoretical High School in Holercani village, Dubasari district, the last construction works provided for the energy efficiency of the building are being carried out, supported by the German government.

Specialists from the Regional Development Agency (ADR) Center recently paid a working visit to Holercani construction site and monitored the work. The experts documented the latest activities and ordered the testing of the recently installed ventilation and heating system. Subsequently, a meeting will be organized to receive the executed works.

The meeting was attended by local decision makers, entrepreneur, designer and consultants of the German Agency for International Cooperation (GIZ).

Within this energy efficiency project, thermal insulation works were carried out on the exterior walls, the plinth and the roof floor, works on the heating and ventilation system were completed, as well as on the engineering networks, the kitchen rooms, sanitary blocks, etc. were renovated.

"All these facilities will make it more comfortable to stay inside the educational institution for about 330 people", according to ADR Center.

The works at Holercani were executed on the basis of a company contract, with a value of 16.28 million lei.

The investment measure Increasing the energy efficiency of the theoretical high school Holercani is funded by the European Union in cooperation with the project Modernization of Local Public Services in the Republic of Moldova, which is implemented by the German Agency for International Cooperation in partnership with the Ministry of Infrastructure and Regional Development and financial support from the German Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development.
