Consular Section of Romanian Embassy in Chisinau temporarily suspended work

Chisinau, January 26 / MOLDPRES /- Consular Section of the Romanian Embassy in Chisinau has temporarily suspended work.

The Romanian Embassy in Chisinau said it has temporarily suspended the work for at least one day in the context of testing the COVID-19 of the entire staff of the Consular Section. The test came on suspicion that an employee may be infected with the new coronavirus.

The information presented to the press shows that "the results of the tests are expected during the afternoon of January 26, 2022, in which case the activity with the public will be suspended on this date".

According to the press release, "the measure to suspend the activity of the Consular Section is being taken to prevent a possible spread of the virus among applicants for consular services and staff".
