Moldovan deputy PM for reintegration meets Ambassador of Russia

Chisinau, 26 January /MOLDPRES/ - Deputy Prime Minister for Reintegration Oleg Serebrian today had a courtesy meeting with Russia’s Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador to Moldova Oleg Vasnetsov. The Russian diplomat congratulated the Moldovan official on the taking over of the mandate of chief negotiator on behalf of Chisinau in the Transnistrian settlement process, the Reintegration Policies Bureau has reported.

Deputy Prime Minister Oleg Serebrian highlighted Chisinau’s positions on a string of subjects concerning the Transnistria-related issues. He pointed out the priority steps due to be undertaken in the near future, in order to ensure a new dynamic to the processes of settlement of the citizens’ real problems.

The officials expressed willingness to maintain a constructive cooperation on aspects of common interest.
