Winners of 4th edition of Tax Lottery contest nominated

Chisinau, 3 Feb. / MOLDPRES /- The State Tax Service (SFS) today published list of winners of the 4th edition in 2021 of Fiscal Lottery competition, nominated as a result of the 20 January draw.

According to the Tax Office, the 175 people designated as winners will benefit from prizes in the amount of one thousand lei each. The prizes will be transferred to the winners on card accounts, in lei, within a maximum of ten days after the publication of the list.

During the fourth stage, 15,960,933 transactions with bank cards participated, in a total amount of 4,883,177,090.24 lei, the information being received from licensed commercial banks issuing in the Republic of Moldova.

"It should be noted that in 2021 there is an increase in the number of transactions made with the card by 39.79% compared to 2020. Regarding the amount of transactions made with bank cards, it increased by 56.43% compared to 2020 ", indicates SFS.

The Fiscal Lottery contest is organized in accordance with the provisions of the Regulation on the conduct of the Fiscal Lottery contest approved by Government Decision. The draws and the validation of the lottery winners take place in the presence of the commission, appointed by order by the director of the State Fiscal Service.

The winning transactions are selected from the total number of transactions participating in the contest, randomly, automatically, based on the transactions made with the bank card, through the Random.org.platform.
