Deputy PM has meeting with United Nations Resident Coordinator in Moldova

Chisinau, 3 February /MOLDPRES/ - Deputy Prime Minister for Reintegration Oleg Serebrian today received United Nations Resident Coordinator in Moldova Simon Springett. The UN official cordially congratulated Serebrian on the taking over of the mandate, the Reintegration Policies Bureau has reported.
The officials tackled the sectors of cooperation on the segment of sustainable development of the settlements from both banks of Dniester, projects carried out and underway on the promotion of confidence building measures and meant to improve the living standards of the citizens from all over Moldova.
Oleg Serebrian expressed sincere thanks for the multidimensional assistance provided to Moldova by the UN and its specialized agencies. He confirmed willingness to deepen the partnerships in diverse sectors, in order to significantly contribute to the achievement of the strategic goals of development, promoting the observance of the universal human rights and backing the desideratum of Transnistrian settlement.
