Pupils from all over Moldova to return to education with physical presence starting from 7 February 2022

Chisinau, 3 February /MOLDPRES/ - The Education and Research Ministry (MEC) has informed that the education process would take place with physical presence at the primary education institutions, gymnasiums and lyceums starting from 7 February 2022.

The local specialty bodies in the education sector and the heads of the public and private primary education institutions, gymnasiums and lyceums will undertake the measures necessary for the resumption of the education process with the physical presence, with the observance of the norms in force.

„It is worth mentioning that the extra-school education activities, planned for 5-6 February, can be organized with physical presence,’’ MEC said.

Also, taking into account the high risk of the further spread of the infection caused by the SARS-CoV-2 virus, the competent ministry warns about the need of observance of the public health measures for the prevention of the spread and control of the COVID-19 infection, valid for the period of emergency state in the public health sector.
