Contemporary art exhibition inaugurated at Chisinau-based museum

Chisinau, 3 February /MOLDPRES/ - A contemporary art exhibition titled, There is Sun in Moldova, was inaugurated at the Constantin Brancusi Exhibition Centre of the Moldovan Fine Artists’ Union (UAP) today.
Contacted by MOLDPRES, the UAP deputy head, Florina Breazu, said the exhibition comprised over 100 painting, graphic, sculpture, installations and decorative art works, made by about 40 authors.
The curator of the Alexandra Mihalaș, said the title, There is Sun in Moldova, was a manifesto of local artists, involving including a critical dimension – the society’s ignorance towards artists and marginalization of a vital sector for the normal work of the society.
The exhibition will be opened till 20 February.
