Buzau County provided eight million lei for rehabilitation of square of Metropolitan Cathedral of Chisinau

Chisinau, 15 Feb. / MOLDPRES /- Buzau County Council has approved allocation of eight million Moldovan lei for infrastructure projects in Chisinau.

Buzău County Council head Petre Emanoil Neagu announced at a joint press conference with Chisinau mayor Ion Ceban that the amount of eight million Moldovan lei will be granted as a donation for infrastructure projects in Chisinau municipality, Buiucani and Botanica sectors.

According to Ion Ceban, among the projects that will be carried out with the financial assistance from Romania is the rehabilitation of the square of the Metropolitan Cathedral. "I thanked the president of Buzău County Council, but also the councilors who recently approved the financial aid for Chisinau in the amount of 8 million Moldovan lei. This is a second donation, after two more lei came from Buzău County Council. which we used to rehabilitate the square in N. Titulescu Street in the Botanica sector ", Ceban said.

At the same time, the mayor announced that in the spring of this year he intends to hold a joint meeting in Chisinau with the county councilors in Buzau and the prices of the sectors in the capital.

Ceban is paying several working visits to Romanian cities this week. On 14 February he met with Iasi mayor Mihai Chirica.
