Moldovan painter exhibits works at Constantin Brancusi exhibition centre

Chisinau, 15 February /MOLDPRES/ - A personal painting and graphic exhibition by fine artist Alla Rusu, who works in Paris, Bucharest, Chisinau and St. Petersburg, was inaugurated at the Chisinau-based Constantin Brancusi Exhibition Centre today.
Contacted by MOLDPRES, Alla Rusu said the exhibition comprised 64 works, of which 40 painting and 24 water colour ones, made since 1998 till present.
In the context, the director of the National Art Museum of Moldova, Tudor Zbarnea, said the exhibition comprised landscapes from Venice, Paris and St. Petersburg. ‘’Alla Rusu is a true artist, with much sincerity. She makes an authentic art,’’ Zbarnea stressed.
Alla Rusu was born in Moldova in December 1965. She finished the A. Sciusev Fine Arts School (1981) and the I.E. Repin Republican Fine Arts College from Chisinau (1985), Institute of Fine Arts from Tallinn, Estonia (1991) and the Nicolae Grigorescu Academy of Fine Arts from Bucharest, Romania (1993). In 2006-2008, she attended courses of iconography in Paris. As of 1993, Rusu has been member of the Fine Artists Union of Romania and starting from 2004 – member of the Fine Artists Union of Moldova. She had 29 personal exhibitions and more participations in group exhibitions in Moldova, Estonia, France, Germany, the Netherlands, Romania, Russia, Slovakia, Ukraine and other countries.
The exhibition will be opened till 27 February.
