Policies in national infrastructure of space data to be optimized in Moldova

Chisinau, 17 February /MOLDPRES/ - The MPs today made amendments to the law on the national infrastructure of space data and the law on geodesy, map making and geo-informatics.  

The legislative act adopted provides for obliging the central body in the field of the national infrastructure of space data to annually submit to the government a report on the establishment and development of the national infrastructure in the sector.  

Also, the public entities will be obliged to approve the conditions of use of space data through national services.   

Another stipulation deals with the creation of the state register of topo-geodetic works, where the topo-geodetic works carried out by private people and legal entities will be recorded.   

Private people and legal entities will have access to the space data in the state register of topo-geodetic works through network services, in line with the law on the national infrastructure of space data.
