Moldova, Romania to coordinate actions to provide necessary assistance to refugees from Ukraine

Chisinau, Feb. 25 / MOLDPRES /- President Maia Sandu spoke today with President of Romania Klaus Iohannis, the presidential press service has reported.

The two heads of state spoke about the complicated situation in the region, caused by the war in Ukraine, and about the decisions taken at yesterday's European Council. President Maia Sandu thanked President Klaus Iohannis for his support and solidarity with the Republic of Moldova, in the context of current developments, and for his commitment to continue helping our country.

The two heads of state also agreed that the Republic of Moldova and Romania should coordinate their actions to ensure the necessary assistance to refugees in Ukraine.
