Martisor Fair to be held in centre of Moldovan capital

Chisinau, 25 February /MOLDPRES/ - The Martisor Fair will be opened in the centre of Chisinau starting from 26 February.
Following the decreeing by the parliament of the emergency state for the next 60 days, by consulting the opinion of Moldova’s Commission for Emergency Situations, the Culture Ministry find out that there were impediments for the opening of the Martisor Fair.
According to the Culture Ministry, the artistic programme on the stage of the Fair from the square of the Nicolae Sulac National Palace, with the participation of artistic bands and folk ensembles, from all over Moldova are cancelled. The same time, on 1-10 March, the concerts of the Martisor International Music festival will be broadcast live on a Led screen set at the Fair.
Thus, cultural event from Moldova will be held according to the agenda and the programme adapted to the new legal context and if changes occur, the ministry will come up with information.
