Moldovan president, Dutch PM discuss importancen of reestablishment of peace in region

Chisinau, 27 February /MOLDPRES/ - President Maia Sandu today evening discussed with Prime Minister of the Netherlands Mark Rutte the current security situation in the region, the presidential press service has reported.

The officials expressed support for the ceasing of the war in Ukraine and for the urgent reestablishment of peace in the region. In the context, they also referred to the assistance needed for managing the flow of refugees from the neighbour country.

Also, President Maia Sandu and PM Rutte discussed the actions necessary to enhance Moldova’s resilience. In the end, the head of state thanked the Kingdom of the Netherlands for the support provided to Moldova in its European integration.
