Electronic equipment collection point set up in Moldovan parliament

Chisinau, 28 Feb. / MOLDPRES /- A waste collection point for electrical and electronic equipment has been set up inside the Moldovan Parliament.

According to the press service of the Legislature, the dumpster is installed on the ground floor, at the entrance to the institution building. Parliament staff are urged to collect e-waste here, which will then be sent for recycling.

Small household appliances can be collected in the dumpster; computer and telecommunications equipment: laptops, tablets, computers, monitors, mobile phones, batteries, printers, copiers; consumer equipment: used batteries, cameras, radios, DVD players, remote controls.

The collected waste is to be taken over by an authorized recycler.
