Increased passenger traffic at Palanca, Tudora customs, authorities say

Chisinau, March 1 / MOLDPRES /- The Border Police announced that today there is an increased flow of passengers at the border crossings Palanca-Maiaki-Udobnoe, PTF Tudora-Starokazacie, PTF Basarabeasca-Serpniovo, PTF Criva-Mamaliga, on the way to enter the Republic of Moldova (on Ukrainian side).

According to the data of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, in the last 12 hours, the border police registered 20,245 crossings of persons, out of which a number of 11,486 on the way to enter the country. Most crossings were of foreign nationals - 15,884.

The most requested border was with Romania - 12,658 of the total crossings, and 7,399 crossings were signaled at the crossing points located at the Moldovan-Ukrainian border.

9,602 crossings were recorded at the border with Ukraine, of which 5,411 on the way into the Republic of Moldova and another 4,191 crossings on leaving the country. About 3,298 passengers were children up to 14 years old.
