Ministry of Health to procure medicines through simplified procedures

Chisinau, March 1 / MOLDPRES /- The Ministry of Health will procure medicines through simplified procedures. The decision was made in the context of the emergency.

The Ministry of Health announced that, together with the Agency for Medicines and Medical Devices and the Center for Centralized Public Procurement in Health, they assessed the risk of discontinuation in the supply of certain groups of medicines, mainly produced in Ukraine.

Thus, a list of medicines has been established which will be additionally procured through the centralized conduct of public procurement procedures with the application of simplified mechanisms.

As a result, public health institutions will be provided with drugs for two to three months. Stocks will also be replenished by donations from international organizations.
