Over 14,000 patients called for ambulance last week

Chisinau, March 1 / MOLDPRES /- Past week, emergency medical teams have provided first aid to 14,346 people.
According to the National Center for Prehospital Emergency Medical Assistance / CNAMUP /, the medical teams intervened in 3,011 patients with cardiovascular diseases, followed by 2,882 patients with respiratory emergencies, 2,100 with neurological pathologies and 1,077 with various traumas.
During the same period, the AMU teams intervened in an emergency in 265 patients with strokes and 50 patients with myocardial infarction. The emergency was called to 34 people, including four children who were injured by road accidents on the country's routes.
At the same time, 45 requests were registered at the Pre-Hospital Emergency Medical Assistance Service due to toxic emergencies, including 17 patients with drug poisoning, nine with alcohol and seven with carbon monoxide poisoning.
