Moldova to be visited by senior officials in coming days

Chisinau, March 1 / MOLDPRES /- In the coming days, the Republic of Moldova will host visits from senior officials who will visit our country in solidarity and support for the measures taken by the authorities in managing the risks associated with the Republic of Moldova following the war in Ukraine, and especially related to flow management. of refugees coming to our country, the MAEIE press service has reported.
Visit agenda by senior officials:
March 1-2 - Helga Schmid, Secretary-General of the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE), who will also meet with representatives of the OSCE Civilian Monitoring Mission recently evacuated from Ukraine;
March 2-3 - Josep Borrell Fontelles, High Representative of the European Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy, and Oliver Varhelyi, European Commissioner for Neighborhood and Enlargement.
Officials will meet with President Maia Sandu, Prime Minister Natalia Gavrilița and Deputy Prime Minister Nicu Popescu to discuss ways to address the security crisis in the region, assistance needs and concrete measures to support strengthening the country's resilience.
