Campaign of collecting school supplies for children refugees from Ukraine launched in Moldova

Chisinau, 1 March /MOLDPRES/ - The Culture Ministry, National Library of Moldova (BNRM), in partnership with the Librarians’ Association of Moldova (ABRM), has launched a campaign of collecting school supplies for the children refugees from Ukraine, titled, We Colour Childhood.

According to the organizers, the campaign is a reaction on behalf of BNRM and ABRM in the present situation, thus representing a call to solidarity, as well as a proof of civil involvement. The campaign’s goal is to collect school supplies for the children refugees from Ukraine. They will be used in leisure activities for children, organized and carried out by the ABRM volunteers and donated by the participants.

Contacted by MOLRPRES, BNRM director Elena Pintilei said that the school supplies would be collected and the activities would be carried out during March.
