Moldova's Commission for Emergency Situations rules to facilitate procedure of employment for Ukrainian citizens

Chisinau, 1 March /MOLDPRES/ - The members of the Commission for Emergency Situations (CSE) today ruled that, on the period of the emergency state, the Ukrainian citizens would have right to work in Moldova without getting the right of temporary stay on purpose of work, the government’s communication and protocol department has reported.
Their employment will be made on the period of the emergency state based on the individual labour contract with determined duration and according to the identity number assigned to the Ukrainian citizens who cross the border and of the identity card’s copy. The employer will inform the National Employment Agency in a period of 5 days after the date of employment.
The CSE members also ruled to allow deducting on fiscal purposes of the expenses related to the donations on purposes of temporary placement and for the management of the flow of refugees, carried out by public authorities, public institutions or non-commercial organizations specified.
Another CSE decision refers to the simplification of the procedure of opening of bank accounts for private people who entered Moldova from Ukraine starting from 23 February 2022. The commercial banks will apply measures of simplified caution up to 10,000 per one client.
