080080011 – green line for management of refugees' flow in Moldova

Chisinau, 1 March /MOLDPRES/ - A phone line dedicated to the issue of refugees from Ukraine - 080080011 – is functional starting from today and can be accessed by all citizens of Moldova who want to make donations or want to signal needs dealing with this subject, the government’s communication and protocol department has reported.

The head of the Single Crisis Management Centre on the flow of refugees, Dumitru Udrea, at a news conference, said that four points of collecting donations were active at present.

Sixty seven placement centres are functional in Moldova, where 2,439 refugees are presently accommodated, with almost 2,000 places being free. Other locations for potential placement centres were identified too, Udrea said. On the period 24 February – 1 March 2022, 88,750 entrances from Ukraine and 46,984 exits from Moldova were registered.
