Exhibition dedicated to defenders of Moldova's integrity opened at museum from Chisinau

Chisinau, 1 March /MOLDPRES/ - A temporary exhibition titled, Memory of an undeclared war, dedicated to the defenders of Moldova’s independence and territorial integrity, was opened at the National History Museum of Moldova today.

Contacted by MOLDPRES, the museum’s deputy director, Elena Postica, said the exhibition represented a report of photo documents, an attempt to reconstitute the tragedy from the spring-summer of 1992 and is occasioned by the unleashing of the armed conflict from Moldova’s eastern districts.

According to the quoted source, the exhibition was conceived as a homage brought to all participants in the combat actions for defending the territorial integrity and independence Moldova, and first, to those who sacrificed their lives on the altar of the Motherland’s freedom.

The exhibition will be opened till 31 March.
