Moldovan head of state visits National Centre of Integrated Coordination of Public Order Actions

Chisinau, 1 March /MOLDPRES/ - President Maia Sandu today visited the National Centre of Integration Coordination of Public Order Actions, subordinated to the Interior Ministry. In the context of the war in Ukraine, the Centre was activated on 24 February and since then, it has been working non-stop, the presidential press service has reported.
The head of state thanked the Centre’s coordinators for mobilization and professionalism proved in the last days, in difficult conditions of work.
„We appreciated their organization as regards the ensuring of public order in Moldova, in the management of the flow of refugees from Ukraine, in coordination of the decisions and actions taken by the structures subordinated to the Ministry, as well as in the management of the information related to this subject. These are essential elements, which help us cope with this crisis situation,’’ President Maia Sandu said. Also, the head of state thanked Interior Minister Ana Revenco for the exemplary coordination of all structures subordinated to MAI.
