Chisinau, March 2 / MOLDPRES /- In the first match of the National Football Division, the players of the FC Sheriff Tiraspol and Milsami Orhei teams displayed a banner with the inscription Stop the war!
The Moldovan Football Federation has announced that all football matches that will take place within the National Division will start with the message No to war, which will be sent by the players.
The first match of the National Division took place at the Sheriff Stadium in Tiraspol and conveyed this message of peace.
The champion of the Republic of Moldova, FC Sheriff Tiraspol, was led from the technical bench by the second coaches Victor Mihailov and Dmitri Kara-Mustafa, the head coach Yuri Vernidub left the team enlisting in the Ukrainian army. FC Sheriff Tiraspol defeated Milsami Orhei 1-0.
