Moldovan PM had phone conversation with Polish counterpart

Chisinau, March 4 / MOLDPRES /- Today Prime Minister Natalia Gavrilița had a telephone conversation with Polish Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki, the government's communication and protocol department has reported.
The two officials discussed the regional security situation and solutions in managing the large flow of refugees from Ukraine. In this context, the need to streamline the number of refugees and the creation of green corridors for those who want to reach the countries of the European Union was addressed.
They also discussed the economic and financial consequences of the humanitarian crisis. Mateusz Morawiecki assured that Poland will support the Republic of Moldova, both in managing the flow of refugees and in increasing the multilateral assistance provided to our state.
Gavrilița appreciated the bilateral collaboration between the two countries and thanked for all the support offered by the Polish state within the European Union. The Prime Minister of Poland welcomed the decision of the Republic of Moldova to apply for membership of the European Union and gave assurances that the government he leads will fully support the European integration of our country.
